multidec®-SHORT HOLDER

For users of Swiss-type automatic lathes who are looking for holders for quick and precise changing on modular systems.

With multidec®-SHORT, UTILIS has launched a new range of products with short IC holders which can be used in the QS modular tooling change system from Sandvik Coromant. The coolant transfer pipe of the QS system can be screwed to the rear of the holder in order to use the internal coolant supply.

As well as being used in the modular tooling change system, multidec®-SHORT can also be used as a conventional short holder with integrated cooling. All holders have three coolant supply connecting facilities. The fixed coolant outlet makes it possible to have low build-up at the front at the holder, and ensures that the coolant hits the cutting edge accurately.
