UTILIS AG is one of the world's leading suppliers of precision tools for the metal industry. It is no coincidence that we operate under the Latin word “utilis”. Utilis means “useful” and “advantageous”, just like our precision tools.
Since the company was founded in 1915, our aim has been to promote the manufacture of high-quality cutting tools in the field of micromechanics. As a traditional, medium-sized Swiss family business, it goes without saying that we place great value on precision, service and customer proximity. We have made a conscious decision to produce the products of our own multidec® brand in Switzerland, as this is the only way we can guarantee the proven UTILIS quality of our cutting tools. Our tools, which impress with their performance, innovation and reliability, are produced by around 125 employees and exported to 60 countries worldwide.
